About Me

Get to know me!

By day, I’m a cybersecurity professional dedicated to protecting digital landscapes. By night, I transform into an amateur astrophotographer, capturing the wonders of the cosmos from my backyard in the Triangle area of North Carolina.

My astrophotography journey began on February 23, 2013, when I captured my first-ever image of Jupiter. Using a DSLR camera attached to the eyepiece of my trusty Orion ST80 telescope, I was hooked from the very first shot.

Shortly after, I expanded my horizons with widefield photos of the Milky Way, framed by the stunning night skies of Western Carolina.

Fast forward to today, I now primarily use one of my three telescopes to photograph the night sky. From planets and nebulae to star clusters and galaxies, I’m always looking for my next celestial target. Recently, I’ve also begun dabbling in nightscape timelapse videos, capturing the dynamic beauty of starfields, meteors, and celestial movements over time.

Astrophotography has become my creative outlet, blending my love for science, technology, and art to showcase the beauty of the universe. Thank you for stopping by to explore my work and join me on this journey among the stars!
